The park even boasts its own lake, hosting a range of water sports, including canoeing, paddle boarding, raft building and kayaking. And the best bit? They can be enjoyed from your very own private jetty and boat launch adjoining your private decking which overhangs the lake.
This rural setting is the ideal place to relax and unwind, breathing in the fresh air and experiencing Mother Nature at her finest. The Lake District National Park offers even more than beautiful scenery, though. Why not try out the local cuisine? Kendal mint cake or cockles from Morecambe Bay are both delicious treats, and with coastal paths and craggy peaks never far away, you can walk off your delicious feasts.
